About the YMC Golm

The youth meeting centre (YMC) Golm of the German War Graves Commission ( Volksbund Deutsche Kriegsgräberfürsorge e.V.) offers school clases the possibility to spend a project week full of activities. Our programs suit young people of all ages and different standards as well as adult groups.
The war cemetery Golm and the close German-Polish border are two impressive, immediate consequences of World War II. They make the village of Kamminke a convenient place for a school project week.

German-Polish projects weeks of partner schools fit well to the conditions the YMC offers. Our Team helps you to get in contact with possible partner schools.

Not only schools are very welcome at the YMC but also youth groups of churches or other international and intercultural projects. Staying at the YMC Golm offers the unique opportunity to strenghten the ties of neighbouring countries by personal experiences and to learn more about Europe.

With its international youth work the German War Graves Commission intensifys and cultivates the democratic culture of remembrance in Europe.
