That you find the JMC Golm directly we would like to provide you here with a few advices concerning the location plan.

Please follow the B 110, starting in the city of Usedom, passing Zirchow and Garz to Kamminke.

The village Kamminke, first mentioned in 1253, is situated in the southeast of the Achterland (directly on the Stettiner backwater) of the island Usedom. Here you find the youth meeting centre (YMC Golm) at: Dorfstraße 33.

You might as well type this address in a route planner of your choice: "Dorfstraße 33, 17419 Kamminke".

Coming to Kamminke by car/bus

Attention: Maximum altitude of the railway-underpass Garz: 3,8 Meter! No crossing for Double-decker buses!

Try to avoid the B111 Wolgast-bridge - risk of traffic jams!

From the south (direction Berlin):
Take the motorway A 11 heading to Stettin until the interchange Dreieck Uckermark, then take the A 20 to exit Pasewalk-Süd, follow the B 109 to Anklam.
Alternativ: Stay on the A 20 until exit Anklam and use the B 199 to Anklam.
From Anklam please use the B 110 heading to Usedom, pass by the city Usedom until you reach Zirchow. There you turn right, pass by Garz and soon reach Kamminke. Please turn right again immediately in front of the sign that marks the beginning of the village onto a farm track. After 300 meters you will reach the youth meeting centre.

From the west (direction Hamburg):
Please take the motorway A 1 until the interchange Kreuz Lübeck, then follow the A 20 heading for Rostock/Stettin.
Leave the motorway at the exit Jarmen/Anklam Nord, from there take the B 110 passing by Anklam. Follow the B 110 heading to Usedom, pass by the city Usedom until you reach Zirchow. There you turn right, pass by Garz and soon reach Kamminke. Please turn right again immedeately in front of the sign that marks the beginning of the village onto a farm track. After 300 meters you will reach the youth meeting centre.

Where can I leave my car?
The YMC Golm has a parking lot for several cars and one bus. Additionally there is parking space for buses close to the war cemetery.

Traveling by train

Please use the train from Hamburg to Stralsund or from Berlin (over Anklam) to Züssow. In Stralsund respectively Züssow you will have to change trains and use the trains of the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB), that will take you as far as Seebad Ahlbeck. From there it is further 15km to Kamminke. We can arrange transportation (with costs) with shuttle buses. Alternatively groups may take the train to Anklam and the YMC will manage transportation with shuttle buses (with costs). Travelling via Anklam will save you almost 2 hours.
There is also puplic transportation from Ahlbeck to Kamminke: Bus number U16 serves the route Heringsdorf-Ahlbeck-Zirchow-Garz-Kamminke and retour. Please ask our team for timetables.

Cycle route

Travelling by bike: There is a splendidly constructed network of cycleways that give you the chance to enjoy the beautiful, diversified landscape of the island Usedom. Getting to Kamminke by bike is an impressing experience for people of all ages. There are different interesting places to visit on the way.
Since June 2006 the YMC Golm provides 50 bicycles for our guests (with costs). Cycle routes on Usedom are generally off the beaten track and it is easy to reach Garz and Korswandt or for example Ahlbeck (12 km) and Swinemünde (4 km).
